For the second year in a row, ​​George Washington High School's Speech and Debate team secured the CHSAA Sweepstakes State Championship Title. The Patriots' team won the sweepstakes titles in both speech and debate, as well as the overall sweepstakes. East High School placed third in the overall sweepstakes and second in the speech sweepstakes. Denver School of the Arts celebrated a first-place win for one of the competitions.
